Conversations with my deceased mother

How many of you actually believe that spirit gives us what we need when we need it?
I ask this question because it has officially been 8 months, 10 days, 8 hours and 33 mins since my beloved mother passed away. I have been waiting and looking for signs that she’s still around me. I’ve even tried doing EVP and spirit box sessions, to no avail. I’m like “Mom, you know I’m a Paranormal Investigator, so please give me a sign that you’re with me.” While my mother was alive she got to know the love of my life somewhat, but I think she always compared him to my ex-husband, who could do no wrong in her eyes. Okay, now hold that thought while I digress for a moment.
I have had paranormal experiences since I was 14 when I saw my spirit guide and have continued to experience the unexplainable. The morning that my mom passed away, she woke me up(her spirit did) around 7 and we had a full blown conversation.
She told me what a wonderful daughter I was and so many other personal things that I needed to hear. By 9:48 a.m. she was gone and my heart shattered.
Fast forward to last week! My boyfriend was visiting his folks up in Nashville for the weekend and during that time her spirit engaged me in another lengthy conversation and her biggest message was about my boyfriend. She apologized for not getting to know him better and that she was able to see what kind of man he is and how well he treats me. I Thanked her for coming to me and telling me those things from her perspective.
That Sunday evening, I ran a nice bath for my mate who just returned from his trip. I typically give him space to bathe and unwind. Something told me…urged me to go into the bathroom just to check on him. He began to tell me about his long ride home and how he did a lot of thinking about us and the relationship.
He apologized for some of the things or past bad behaviors over the last few years and then he hesitated…..he slowly said to me “I know you’re going to think I’m crazy, but on the ride home, I felt your mother’s presence very strongly as I thought back on all of the things we’ve been through…I feel the need to tell you how sorry I am for any bad behaviors and they will never happen again…”
Can I just tell you that my mouth fell to the floor when I heard him saying all of these things because I knew without a doubt that my Mom’s mission on that day was to communicate messages of love to both of us! When I told him about my convo with her, he was just as awestruck because not only were these messages communicated at the same time, but we were able to validate them with each other. We both Thanked her for her messages of love, kindness and understanding towards one another.
These events continue to inspire me to seek as an investigator and continues to bring me great comfort as Sue Wright’s beloved daughter. Please feel free to share your experiences…

How Spirit Communicates With us When Death is Near or After…My Story!!

Ever since I had the ability to read and comprehend, I knew innately that there was something else beyond the veil. God gifted me with the ability to open my third eye, meaning that I was able to see and communicate with the spiritual realm starting at the age of 14. During a very tumultuous time in my and my family’s lives, I contemplated suicide, because as a child it is so hard to see the proverbial “light at the end of the tunnel.”

I lost hope and Faith in the Divine until one chilly March afternoon when my Indian Spirit Guide appeared to me. She was quite beautiful with her two long braids on each side of her head and gentle smile on her face and eyes that were so full of love and knowledge. I noticed that this strange Native American woman that I had never seen in our neighborhood was 8 or 9 months pregnant and that she just appeared and was now staring intently at me. No words were ever spoken between us, but the telepathic message she gave me still lives within in me almost 40 years later. She told me that “God had sent her to me and that He knew what my family was struggling with, but that he had a specific message just for me…she went on to say that “whatever I was contemplating was not the answer, that God loved me so much and if I trusted Him, that my life would change very soon.” The beautiful messenger vanished after her message was delivered and after I was able to digest this very strange visitation, I soon realized that God was real and that He loved me so much that he made it a point to send one of His messengers to talk with me….encourage me…enlighten me.  From that day on, my Faith and my spiritual awareness became heightened. Six months after my divine intervention, my family moved to Japan and my life turned around completely for the better. I believe her being pregnant was a symbol for “new life or a rebirth.”

For many years, I did not acknowledge this “gift” that God had given me until I was a makeup artist for a show featuring paranormal investigators or ghost hunters, which gave me the fuel to delve deeper and gain a better understanding of the spirit realm. When my grandmother passed away in 2006, she was able to communicate to me and my family that she was alright where she was on more than one occasion. This communication was able to give our family a certain level of peace and know that she was still there watching over us, protecting us and still very much a big part of our family. My mother never doubted my abilities and was one of my biggest supporters.

On May 4 2016,  at precisely 3:26 a.m. I awoke from a horrible dream. My mother appeared to me to tell me that she was going to pass on. I was rattled as I tried to get myself together for the workday. Right as I was walking out of the house, my phone rang and it was my father telling me that mom was in ICU.  Although she was in ICU, she was stable, eating and we all fully expected her to get out of there and go home. But after a few days, my spirit told me to get home as soon as I could and arrived Monday, May 9th.

She may have been in pain in her physical body but her mind and spirit was extremely powerful. As soon as my mother saw me her eyes lit up, she told me how happy she was to see me and how ugly she thought my new Converse were… and kept telling me over and over “I wanna go home Tracy…I wanna go home” I tried to reassure her that she needed to fight hard so that she could go home to my father and she agreed. When I went back the next day, I fed her, loved on her and told her a million times how much she meant to me…how much I loved her and she was able to tell me the same things. After sitting quietly for a few moments, she looked at me and told me to go get her makeup bag because she wanted me to do her makeup and hair. She asked me over and over again for me to promise to do it..I agreed. Those moments that I was able to spend with her alone were much more than a daughter caring for her mother, as she did for me when I was a child.

During those moments we stared deeply into one another’s eyes and she conveyed so many different things to me in those gazes and I to her. What I did not realize during those moments is that my mom was experiencing near death awareness. She was straddling both worlds with the complete knowledge and acceptance of her imminent death. I knew that even though it was just her and I alone in that room that my grandmother and Aunt Pinky were there waiting in the wings to assist with her transition, as I had asked and prayed that they would be with her through each step of this battle.

After feeding her dinner and making sure she was comfortable for the night I left.  The phone rang at my parent’s home at 6:30 a.m. on May 11th the doctors letting my Dad know that there wasn’t anything else they could do for her in ICU and they would move her down to a room on the Hospice floor. That news felt like an emotional body blow and I laid back down to digest this news. As I laid there my mother began communicating with me in earnest. She told me about her life and how as a skinny, dark-skinned girl with an overbite, that she was able to live an incredible life; A life full of travel, once in a lifetime experiences and adventures abound with my father and her children. She may not have always made the right decisions in life but she had no regrets, but she did the best she could.  She told me how much she loved me and how proud she was of me and so glad that she was my mother and how we were able to rebuild our relationship from ashes to make it the loving relationship that came to be. She told me how much she liked my partner Lee and that LOVE and understanding one another is the only thing that’s important. She told me to mend any fences whether it was with family or friends because none of those grievances were worth missing out on important loving relationships. She told me to make sure to take care of my father and make sure he is ok because he was the love of her life and 52 years of marriage was a blessing. She told me to always put family first no matter what. She told me that she so desperately wanted to stay with us but her body would not allow it….this conversation lasted about 10 or 15 mins by my account but in the spirit realm there is no time. I thanked her for entrusting me through all of her communications over the last few days.

The phone rang again 20 minutes later and my father delivered the news that my mom was gone. No amount of disbelief, tears of grief or sorrow could take away the special gifts that I was personally touched by. She knew that her time was short and she was preparing me starting with that dream a week prior. If you add up the numbers of the time I woke up 3:26, it adds up to 11 (May 11)…her wanting to go home was referring to Heaven and her request for me to do her makeup and hair was preparing her baby girl for her transition and she knew I would understand her messages. That I would honor her wishes then and always.

The passing of this wonderful, effervescent spirit that God allowed to be my mother and friend, has been by far the most spiritual event that I’ve ever had. This only reinforces my belief in my divine gifts and the Power of God…that even though the body falls away that the spirit continues to live on in the land of milk and honey…that you can experience intense pain but that Joy can come in the morning.. even though my physical self, experiences despair and pain over the loss of my mother. I know that I can continue to communicate with her in another realm and that she will be looking over all of us and guiding us….that she will be there to greet me…us..when our time has come to transition and that brings me great comfort and peace as our lives move forward. Although your hearts may be heavy please rejoice that she is at peace and that Heaven and life thereafter is real. For anyone that is in doubt that life continues on after death, I can assure you that there is another plane of existence. I will continue my quest to find out more and to hone the spiritual gifts that God has given me.

May 9, 2015 Investigation–Old Taylor Hospital in Hawkinsville, GA

Our team got the okay from our new friend and tour guide Janet to come down to investigate the Old Taylor Hospital in Hawkinsville, GA.  This location is about 2 hours away from Atlanta where we reside and our team is comprised of myself and partner Jen Spear, but her father-in-law Robert (aka Buppa)  was in town so we basically kidnapped him to use as our Tech guy. Actually Robert is recently retired and has developed a love and passion for the paranormal world as much as Jen and myself. He is a MAJOR league skeptic when it comes to other worldly things, which makes for lively debates and discussions.

We packed  the vehicle to the gills with all of our equipment and set off for this one horse town, to see if the reports of paranormal activity at Old Taylor were fact or fiction. Okay, here is some of the history of this hospital borrowed from the locations website

—The Old Taylor Memorial Hospital open its doors in Hawkinsville, Georgia in 1937.  It was truly the pride of the county, at the time it was built,  it was the only medical center south of Macon, Georgia. During its reign, many lives began here and many lives came to an end here.  The doors have been closed for 36 years, once a modern building was constructed,  all files have been removed, patients have been housed in the new building since 1977, however, that does not mean it has truly been just a vacant building.

Over the years the building has been closed down, boarded up, fenced and locks installed. Through all the efforts to keep out vandals , teenagers and thrill seekers, many have made their way into the building, each one coming out with tales of shadows, voices and objects being moved. Now that permission has been granted to take people in for investigations, we are finding out they are not just stories!  Come and see for yourself just what or who is it that draws people to such a building!

The Paranormal show Ghost Stalkers also found the hospital intriguing and conducted their own investigation here in 2014 and seemed to have gotten some really dope evidence. The biggest find was the full body apparition that walked behind that annoying little cry baby Chad. as well as other stuff. I’m pretty sure he is one of the major reasons their show got axed because no one could stand to listen to him whine and scream during every episode….okay I digress, sorry!

We rolled into the Old Taylor Hospital parking lot a few minutes after seven p.m. and Janet was there trying to get everything organized. Besides the three of us, there was a group of 3 elderly ladies with their niece and 2 other folks helping Janet out with this mismatched lot of coconuts. There typically is a limit of 10 people, which is great because it minimizes contamination. The other group came equipped with their cell phones and flash lights. They were all sweet as molasses but we knew that we did not want them anywhere near us when we began our investigation. Janet also made sure to keep them as far away from us as humanly possible by letting them know “These guys are pro’s and have heavy duty equipment, so please don’t get in their way”. Dammit Janet, I love you!!! She is also a Paranormal Investigator and knows a dabbler when she sees one. She’s got a great website that you can check out too at Seekers of Spirits (SOS) Ghost Hunters,

Janet took her time and gave us a very thorough tour of the hospital which in todays terms would be considered very small. It has 2 basements and three floors and we were able to move thru the place to get anywhere in the place in a short amount of time. Legend has it that their resides childrens spirits, a shadow man and doctors and nurses still occupying this space. We got some strange vibes in certain parts of the building such as surgery room and post-op room, both basements (one was the waiting room for people of color), the stairs and some of the patients rooms.

After setting up base camp with our digital cameras, miles of cables, motion detectors, EMF detectors, P-SB7 Spirit Box, Laser grid, Roberts infrared glasses and digital recorders, we set off to see if the reports of activity were fact or fiction. We started our investigation at 11:00 trying to navigate thru the maze of hallways and levels. It’s amazing how different things look like in the daylight then at night or pitch blackness in our case. We located the room that Janet described having a male spirit who loved interacting with blond-haired women and in some cases, women in general. We were told that he did not like men around and so we told Robert to stand guard in the hallway to see if he could catch anything with his infrared glasses. Allegedly this young man came down with yellow fever or some disease along these lines and was sent to Old Taylor for treatment where he apparently died in the late 1800’s.

Jen and I decided we were going to conduct a flashlight session to see if he would respond to any of our questions and lo and behold we got direct responses to most of the questions we asked. For those that aren’t familiar with using a flashlight when conducting a session, you unscrew the top of a small flashlight to looses it and put it on a flat service. When asking questions of the spirits, you ask them to have the flashlight blink once for yes and twice for no, typically. Jen is still on the fence about how she feels about this session because specific questions were not answered. My take on this is that we did receive actual responses to the questions asked. Not everything will be perfect or the way we think they should be when communicating with spirits. The rest of the evening was pretty quiet and we wrapped at 1:30 a.m.

Although we are still in the process of reviewing countless hours of video, audio and photographs, we found that so far we were pretty successful at finding some evidence of the afterlife at Old Taylor. Here is the list of evidence that will change as we finish up reviewing:

* Active flashlight session in room where a man’s spirit allegedly resides. He reportedly loves blonds and isn’t to fond of men.

* At least 2 separate videos of a black mass moving thru the halls on the first floor. Seems to be residual because it keeps darting up and down the halls.

* A video by a set of stairs where the spirit of a child has been seen and felt. We got some very strange lights at the foot of the stairs when no one was remotely close to them.

*Plenty of orb pictures. One bright orb in particular seemed to accompany us throughout the entire investigation. I know that some investigators completely disregard orbs…I beg to differ on that. After dust and other reasons are ruled out, sometimes they are what they appear to be…Spirits!

We plan on making another trip to see if we can catch additional evidence so stay tuned…
